War has finally subsided in the city Kali Creek after a nearly everlasting three years of fighting. Five years since the last bullet was fired the city is left in ruins with no human population present leaving the canine population to thrive and multiply. Food is scarce, survival is slim, and danger is lurking everywhere. Territories are up for grabs and power is juggled between the four packs of the city: Lotus. Teivel, Aliah, and Kota. Each pack has their own unique beliefs and theories as to what form of government should be established and what lifestyle should be followed. Of course there are always those who believe living the life of a maverick is the only way to survive; living on their own without assistance. Damage from the war is still present with bombing sights and ruined buildings which could not survive through combat. Do you think you have what it takes to conquer the city, or will your mutt be one of the first to falter under these dramatic living standards? Either way we welcome you to enter Kali Creek and help the start of something new, what has come to be known as Project Revolution.
Project Revolution is an intermediate level of roleplay, meaning we have a 150 post minimum for each in character post. We have just opened with friendly and active members as well as positions for leaders and staff still available. Come join us as we start a revolution.

Hello there literate roleplayers. Are you tired of bland Light vs. Dark plots, equine RPGs that all seem the same, and plots that don't affect your character?
Well we've got a surprise for you. At The Secret it's not just about good and evil. In fact, good and evil don't have a lot to do with things. No matter whose side you're on, you can be as nice or as cruel as you see fit. But if you live in the north you'd better be tough if you want to stay alive. Here's a summary of what kinds of characters you can make:
Southern equines: The Resistance. You like freedom and would rather be left to your own devices. Conquering is not really your thing, you just want to be left alone to start a herd. Weakland equines: The Captives. You keep your head down and hope you don't get beaten up too often. You dream of escaping to the south, but know you'll be killed for trying. Mostly mares live here, though there is a small number of stallions. They usually get beaten down the most so they can't rebel. Northern equines: Tartarus's Legions. You work for the mastermind, Tartarus, the one who blew the news about the object of power out into the open. You answer to his captain Atlas, and you spend your time fighting, bullying mares in the Weaklands, and training colts for the army. If you have any spare time you can gather a small herd. Haven of Hesperides: The Secret Keepers. You know not hate nor greed, and you live within the walls of the Haven. You may leave to explore, but other equines seem so different to you. You live in peace and philosophy, seeking knowledge and enlightenment. But you know what is brewing, and the battle will come to your doorstep even though they cannot break down the door.
We are also accepting staff applications for Global Moderators, Graphics Designers and Skin Designer.
What's going on... ?
There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?
The board is set, the pieces are in play. Whose side will you join?

Have you ever dreamed of a place with no rules? A place where you could do whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted? There was no others telling you what to do? You probably thought of great times and peace for all. And if you thought this you were wrong. Dead wrong. Welcome to Controlling Chaos.
Here is the placed you've been dreaming of, but without the peace and prosperity for all. Here in the city of Nashua, there are five packs fighting for survival: Kari, Ashai, Harku, Shou and Fang. Of course there is always the option of taking the challenge alone, but does your character have what it takes? Humans still reside in the city, but with their number dwindling the canines have decided to ban together to banish them from the city once and for all. But if they are successful, what will happen next? It is up for you to decide. Create a character, enter the realistic city of Nashua, and pick a path for your character to follow.
Controlling Chaos is an advanced level of roleplay, meaning we have a 300 word minimum for every in character post. We have just opened and have staff positions still available. We are a friendly and caring site, and anyone who may abide to the 300 word minimum is welcome to enter.

"aw-pant-crap" Blast hissed as the howler flung himself to a stop in front of her. She only had enough time to notice the lean dogs brown coat before she slammed head long into him. No idea where the brown dog was she went sprawling. Head over paws again and again, before she finally came to a stop laying on her back. NO! The wolf cross lept to her paws, I will not be caught on my back to have some pack animal tear me to bits! Blast spun around, red brown fur bristling, her golden eyes ripping across the sand until the landed on the brown dog...

His intruder was running away. He could see it standing still, in thought, for only a moment before darting off toward the border. It was fast, injured as it seemed to be. Tudor growled under his breath and kicked up the sand behind him as he flew off after the dog. His ears flew back in the biting wind, tail sprawled out behind him, paws working back and forth pumping him faster and faster. The sand slowed him down though not enough to make a noticeable difference in his speed.
Tudor was fast. His body was made for speed. Though, it was only so after he made it so. Remus was simply designed perfectly and given the ability to run quick but in order to keep up with his brother, Tudor pushed himself, pushed to be better, to be faster. After 5 years of the struggle between siblings to be faster, Tudor had done it. His body was thin and lean with no fat if he could help it. He was a car without wheels. He was a bullet with no use for a gun. And he would catch this new dog if it killed him, because he was fast, and he could do it. Failure was not a possibility.
He could feel the sand clump between his toes, the wetter sand sticking to his underbelly. But he could see the dog, or rather, a wolf, as he now judged it to be. His brown eyes were fixed clearly and unalterably on this wolf. He was closer and closer, chest heaving in deep pants and excitement of the chase. He was gaining on it quickly. There was no way it could reach the border before Tudor did. With the wolf within six feet, Tudor tucked down his head and pulled up beside the wolf.
In reality, he wasn’t quite sure why he was chasing this wolf. It had invaded his territory, sure, but was that any reason to chase it down and make it stop? Chase it off maybe, but not talk to it. But he was going to anyway. If Remus found out about this wolf and that it had left without Tudor attempting to get it in the pack, he would never hear the end of it.
“I’m only going to talk,” he panted, talking to the wolf intruder.
With a last spurt, Tudor darted in front of the wolf and stopped in it’s path, giving only a few inches to turn or jump. He braced himself for the impact.

the border collies are medium-sized dogs without extreme physical characteristics and a moderate amount of coat. their double coats can from slick to lush. in gauvnt's appearance she is a blue merble collie. her eye color is a brown to an amberish color. The ears of the Border Collie are also highly variable — some have fully erect ears, some fully dropped ears, and others semi-erect ears similar to the rough collies, her's i would say are fully dropped ears. her size is about 19 in height to her withers, whiler her weight is about 40 pounds.
going to the top of this female, she has a a mixed color coat, what we call a blue merle look. cute fully dropped ears, with the color gray and black. going down her she has a brown to an amberish colored eyes. a long snout with a black nose with white whiskers. going inside her. she has white teeth with a shaded pink tonuge. black lips, it seems. going back out, gauvnt is a strong young lady, with the speed, aglity and stamina of a border collie, being the pure one she is. a medium sized back with long legs to help her with her speed.
her coloration is slightly complicated to explain. on the left side of her of her head it seems to be lighter, than on the other side; which is darker. on top of her head she has a long blaze or stripe feel that goes down and does not touch her eyes. it's a circlish on the head, then goes down to her muzzle. making it white with black and gray to it. white goes down her chests and down to her fronts paws, then down her stomach to her back paws. making everything white as it goes. at the tip of her tail is tip of white, well more of a tip. she has some on her hips bone.
a little crazy ;; sometimes. screw loyalty ;; all the time. words worse than bite? ;; who knows when. quick-witted ;; a little here, a little there. tactful ;; a little. intelligence ;; always. calmness ;; all the time.
when you think of gauvnt, her name. you probably think someone who cares. fun to be with. the one who'd help you out of jail, when no one else would. well my friend, gauvnt is no where near that. she is not caring. she would not help you out of jail, not even if you where her family. she isn't exactly fun to be around. she is silent and all the way. you'll probably get a few words out of her. mostly if you ask her questions.
gauvnt is crazy. okay a little. she is the type you wouldn't want to hang with, if she is crazy. when she is, she's really upset or angry. how she get crazy? well someone messed with her mentally . she had a flashback or she feels like it. when she's in this mood. she'd rather walk right past you, insult you, or tell you to "f**k off." pretty much or she'll do all of the options above. she wouldn't want you to be hurt. how she deals with others is slightly different than others. she goes for you're head. not physically, mentally. she likes to screw with your head, then if possible physically. this is rare though.
gauvnt is not loyal. ever since she was one and what happened. she is no where neat loyal. you are nothing to her. "you're only the dirt i walk on and that's exactly what i'll do." like she said. she's rather walk over you than be loyal. she isn't loyal to anyone. it doesn't matter to her who you are. doesn't matter at all. you're a disgrace to her, i would guess. you can never tell with her. you never can tell what she is thinking. she'll tell you "you can trust me, trust me." then stab you right in the back and tell you " how does it feel to be the dirt underneath my paws? how does it feel to be a disgrace?" then she'll leave you alone and mostly leave you alone forever. to her, making some hate her is fuel. it keeps her going. no one knows what she is like this. does she really need a reason to be this way?
is her 'words worse than her bite?' i wouldn't really say so, but you can never tell with her. you can't really tell with anyone. she can really tell you off, but her bite is pretty bad, but not that much. others say her words is worse. how she could make you think one way and think something differently later. i ask you 'which is worse?' everyone says both are pretty bad. i must warn you, you are correct. they are both bad. i would say her words are worse. she doesn't like to force. she isn't a forcer. so her words are worse than her bite. but keep in mind both are bad. keep in mind mentally, not physically. now repeat that 5,000 more times for me?
gauvnt is quick-witted, only more mentally then physically. she might think it through first, but her body (her feet more so) just don't take in the information quick enough or it might not at all. she might want to make a move in a fight, but her body don't react much to it though she might get it the second time, she'll get it no matter what, she'll make sure of it. even if she's smart, she isn't right in her thoughts. sometimes her action and/or thoughts much be the reason for this. this would be the reason for her death if she don't think everything out. the thought might sound good at first, but...when she tries it out, she'll blame herself and say "and i thought of that?". sometimes she isn't so 'bright' per say. no one is, but she tries to prove herself. no one knows why. she just does, pushing herself to limits she shouldn't, knowing what will follow behind.
i wouldn't say she is that tactful. she really isn't good with others. only if she knows you very well. this may be a ruse, but who knows really. she really isn't one to be 'sensitive' to others, if she knows she did something wrong, theres a 50/50 chance she'll fix it. it really depends on the situation. she isn't delicate either. she's more rough. if you ask for advice from this female, you might want to get a back bone and/or courage. she won't give it to you if you don't have courage. she wants you to take it to heart and 'hopefully' it will stay in your mind so she won't have to repeat it for you more than she should. she does not want you to come back to her, but if it's for something different. then go ahead and ask. though quickly if she's busy and don't want to be bother or if she just don't want to talk to anyone. she'll try to be patient with you and take in what you're saying. she'll try to give advice, but dear isn't your choice to listen or not? might want to choose wisely, you never know what will happen to you in the long run ya know? don't worry she'll have some consent for you or will she? you pick. just a little question to help you out: is she at your throat? you must choose carefully with your words around her.
gauvnt is highly intelligent. well it really depends on the subject. she isn't smart at everything and she knows this. she isn't the smartest women on earth. no one is, she tries to be intelligent. you want some advice and you ask her. she'll give it to you. she won't stand for "i don't know." she doesn't like to tell others that. you came for her advice and you'll 'sure as hell get some.' it irks her when she can't be smart enough to help someone when they need it the most. but she'll always have something to say. she'll hardly ever leave you hanging. she hates to do such a thing to others, but she will when she isn't in the mood. there's a time when she'll leave you guessing with her words.
gauvnt is pretty calm. mostly when it comes to fighting. she isn't most of the time. the only time she wouldn't be calm is because you were using her or a friend and she knew about it. or maybe when you were using a friend against her. when it comes to fighting and it doesn't go her way and it starts to go down hill. she just might freak out and lose it per say. gauvnt is calm in certain situations. you might be insulting her and she'd probably just sit there and ignore you. it's what she does best. she's calm alot when others are around her, she tries not to show anger. she doesn't want other to take her over, by showing her anger towards them. she avoids showing any emotion towards anyone. probably doesn't want them to get the wrong idea about her. something of the sort. gauvnt hardly ever is excited about anything. if she was, she wouldn't show it. the only time she would be excited if it was going her way. unknown to many, she doesn't like fighting. she only does it for her pride, i guess. there are times when she'll back down. she ain't that stupid.
gauvnt will show her feelings towards others. like if she didn't like you, oh hell she'll show it. it's kinda rare for this, but not really. if you get what i mean. gauvnt is the one who would tell you something if it was bothering her or would hurt you in the long run, don't get her wrong. she's only trying to help you out and is not trying to hurt you. but if she's friends with you and cares, then she'll tell you. no worries. she'll try to be calm and tell you, but sometimes her feelings get in the way.

A loud howl blasted through the silence from somewhere behind her. Blast froze in her tracks. "Aw crap" she grumbled. She had planed on getting out of this area, territory whatever, with out getting caught. So much for that plan. She had been spotted. She couldn't hide, her red/brown pelt stuck out sharply from the sun baked yellow sand. There was no way she could run for very long. Her fur stripped flank was still oozing blood. She couldn't tell if it was broken or not... "well" she grunted."Time to see how fast these paws 'o mine can take me!" Blast shot off. She was a fast dog. Both of her parents. All of her ancestors helped her in this situation. She was a wolf, a shadow moving across the sand. Silent velvet paws landing evenly, caring her body quickly over the ground. Her lab side gave her the strength and extra agility she needed so badly. But no amount of breeding could save her from exhaustion for long.. She had to get over the border, and fast
